Who we are
wpalemi.com (“we”, “us”) is operated by MHM (Turkey). For EU/UK residents, our data processing is handled through our Merchant of Record partner, Polar.sh.
Data we collect
When you visit the site
- Basic server logs (IP, user agent, referrer) — retained 30 days, used for security and debugging
- Cookies: WordPress session, TranslatePress language preference
When you create an account
- Email address (for login and license delivery)
- Name (optional, for license display)
- Language preference
When you purchase
We do NOT collect payment details. Checkout is handled by Polar.sh (Merchant of Record), which processes payments via Stripe. Polar and Stripe collect:
- Card data (Stripe — PCI-DSS Level 1)
- Billing address (Polar — for tax calculation)
- Subscription status (Polar — shared with us via webhook)
We store: your plan, license key, renewal date, and site activation status.
How we use data
- Deliver the plugin and license updates
- Provide customer support
- Send transactional emails (welcome, license keys, renewal reminders)
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records)
We do NOT:
- Sell data to third parties
- Use data for marketing profiling
- Share data beyond our processors (Polar, Stripe, hosting provider)
Your rights (GDPR)
You can request:
- Access to your data (export)
- Deletion of your account
- Rectification of incorrect data
- Objection to processing

Data retention
- Active accounts: duration of subscription + 90 days after cancellation
- Inactive accounts: 2 years, then deleted
- Transactional records: 7 years (tax requirement)

- Stripe — Payment infrastructure (stripe.com/privacy)
- Hostinger — Site hosting (hostinger.com/privacy)
- TranslatePress — Language data stays on our server
